William Rosenberg founded Dunkin' Donuts in 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts. Before establishing Dunkin' Donuts, Rosenberg operated a food truck business called Industrial Luncheon Services, which delivered meals and coffee to factory workers in the Boston area. Observing that coffee and Donuts were his most popular items, Rosenberg decided to open a dedicated coffee and Donut shop.
